Blaze live auctions let you sell one physical item, digital item, or NFT directly through your stream. Viewers bid using USDC or BLAZE, and the winning bidder finalizes the purchase before you deliver the item manually.
This guide covers creating an auction, pinning it to your stream, following bids, and managing it until a winner is selected.

Who Can Create Auctions?

Auction selling is being introduced gradually. If Sell shows a message that selling is opening soon, your account does not have access yet. You do not need to apply or change any settings while you wait for access.

Create a Live Auction

  1. Sign in to your Blaze account.
  2. Open your profile menu and select Sell, or go directly to blaze.stream/sell.
  3. Select Create Auction.
  4. Complete the item, bidding, and delivery sections described below.
  5. Review everything, then select Create & Pin to Stream.
The auction starts immediately and is pinned to your stream so viewers can open it and place bids. Only one auction can be pinned at a time.

Auction Details and Options

  • Title and description: Clearly explain what the winner will receive.
  • Image: An optional JPEG, PNG, GIF, or WEBP image of the item.
  • Starting bid and currency: Set an amount greater than zero and choose USDC or BLAZE.
  • Duration: Choose 2, 5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes. Auctions cannot be paused or resumed after they start.
  • Delivery type: Choose Physical item, Digital item, or NFT.
  • Delivery SLA: Promise delivery within 24, 48, or 72 hours after the winner finalizes the purchase.
  • Delivery instructions for winner: Explain exactly what information you need to deliver the item.

Write Clear Delivery Instructions

  • Physical item: Ask for the winner's shipping address and any delivery notes you require.
  • Digital item: Ask for the username, email, license, or account information needed to transfer access.
  • NFT: State the supported network and ask for the compatible wallet information you need.
Only request information that is necessary to complete delivery. Never ask a winner for a password, wallet recovery phrase, or private key.

Manage an Active Auction

  • Follow bids: The auction card shows the current bid, highest bidder, bidder count, and time remaining. Select View bidders for bid history.
  • Edit limited details: Before an active auction ends, you can update its title, description, image, and delivery instructions. The starting bid, currency, duration, delivery type, and SLA cannot be changed.
  • Pin an auction: An eligible active auction can be pinned if no other auction is currently pinned.
  • Cancel or unpin: Cancel an active pinned auction before replacing it. A completed auction must be unpinned before another auction can be pinned.
A bid placed in the final 30 seconds can extend the auction by another 30 seconds. This gives other viewers time to respond to a late bid.

What Happens When the Auction Ends?

If the auction has a winning bidder, the winner must finalize the auction, complete payment, and send the delivery information you requested. Until then, the auction may show Waiting for winner to finalize.
Do not ship or transfer the item until the order is ready for delivery and the Deliver or Mark Delivered action appears. Continue with Managing Auction Orders, Delivery, and Refunds.

Important Auction Responsibilities

Auction items are delivered manually by the streamer. Blaze does not automatically deliver the item, so describe it accurately, set a realistic delivery deadline, and fulfill the order only after payment is finalized.
Some auction actions for digital items and NFTs may be unavailable in the Blaze iOS app because of App Store rules. Buyers can use Blaze on the web for the full auction experience. Availability may vary by region.
