Spotlight Funds are Blaze’s weekly incentive program for streamers.
Where the funds come from
- 30% of total BLAZE supply allocated to Spotlight Funds
- Scheduled to distribute over 4 years
- Additional sources may be added over time (example: AMM swap fees)
How streamers qualify
- Must be Verified
- Must receive votes
When funds are distributed
Spotlight Funds are distributed weekly based on votes.
Monday is the intended payout day for each completed epoch. After the epoch ends, Blaze reviews the results and completes the required eligibility and integrity checks.
Spotlight Funds are distributed once these checks are complete, typically within 2–3 days after the epoch ends.
Spotlight Funds Distribution Rules (Vote-Based + 10% Cap)
Core rule
- Distribution is vote-based
Anti-gaming protection: 10% cap
Each streamer can receive maximum 10% of that week’s Spotlight Funds.
Why:
- reduces manipulation
- prevents a single streamer from dominating weekly rewards
- encourages healthier distribution across creators
Streamer restriction
Streamers cannot vote for themselves.
