What activation does
Activated passes:
count toward voting power
let you earn revenue share
Inactive passes:
do not count for voting
do not earn revenue share
Steps: Activate passes
Go to wallet page.
Click Manage Backstage Passes button
Click Activate (or Stake).
Select how many passes to activate.
Confirm.
Steps: Deactivate passes
Go to wallet page
Click Manage Backstage Passes button
Click Deactivate (or Unstake).
Select how many passes to deactivate.
Confirm.
Critical Rule: Votes Lock Passes
Once you vote during an epoch, the passes used for voting become locked.
Votes cannot be reset
Passes that have been used to vote cannot be deactivated or unstaked until the epoch ends
Your active stake must remain unchanged for the duration of the epoch.
