Protecting the Young Flames. Child & Teen Safety

Blaze is built to inspire creativity, never to endanger it.

Age Policy & Parental Supervision

  • Blaze is designed for users who meet the platform’s minimum age requirement. Users under that age should not have an account.

  • If a minor (teen) uses Blaze, their account should be managed with parent or legal guardian consent and supervision.

  • Minors should always be aware of basic online-safety rules: protect privacy, avoid sharing personal information (real name, home address, school, contact info), and avoid exposing sensitive details on stream or in chat.

Key Safety Rules for Minors on Blaze

If you are a minor (or a parent/guardian), keep the following in mind:

  • Protect personal identity — don’t share real name, address, school name, phone, or other identifying data in public chat, profile, or stream.

  • Keep private info private — don’t post photos or videos that reveal identity or sensitive details.

  • Be cautious with interactions — only interact with people you know or trust. Don’t accept friend/party requests or private messages from strangers without guardian oversight.

  • Avoid risky content — don’t share or request adult content, personal documents, or sensitive personal information.

  • Use common-sense habits — treat your online presence like real life: if you wouldn’t share something in real life, don’t share it online.

These practices help protect against identity theft, stalking, harassment, scams, or other abuses.

What Parents / Guardians Should Do

For parents or guardians who have teen children using Blaze:

  • Stay involved with your child’s online activity — watch together, discuss what’s safe to share, and encourage open communication about anything that makes them uncomfortable.

  • Teach them about privacy and responsible sharing: nothing that reveals their identity, home location, school, personal contacts, or financial info.

  • Help them understand reporting tools: if they see bullying, harassment, grooming attempts, or other harmful behavior — report it immediately to Blaze support.

  • Encourage healthy habits: limit screen time, keep devices in shared/family spaces rather than private rooms, and review what they share or view online.

What’s Not Allowed for Minors or Content Involving Minors

Blaze prohibits any content or behavior that:

  • Exploits, harasses, threatens, or endangers minors.

  • Shares private, identifying, or sensitive information of a minor without express, informed consent.

  • Includes exploitation, abuse, grooming, or non-consensual sharing of personal media involving minors.

  • Encourages minors to engage in risky or harmful content, or to bypass necessary permissions or protections.

Violations will be treated seriously by the Blaze moderation team.

Why This Matters

Children and teens are especially vulnerable online. The combination of anonymity, large audiences, and unpredictable interactions can expose them to bullying, scams, exploitation, privacy invasions, and other risks.

By following these safety guidelines — and by the community helping watch out — Blaze aims to provide a safer, more respectful environment for everyone.
