Account safety is an important part of the Blaze experience. Streams, chat, and your creator profile all rely on having a protected account. Here are a few practices that help keep everything locked down and running smoothly.
1. Build a Password That’s Hard to Crack
Start with a password that isn’t easy to guess. Longer is better, and using a mix of letters, numbers, and special symbols makes it far stronger.
Avoid using the same password you use elsewhere.
If managing passwords becomes messy, password-manager apps can automatically generate and store secure ones for you.
2. Add Extra Protection With Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
2FA gives your account an additional checkpoint. After entering your password, you’ll confirm your identity using an authenticator app or a text message sent to your phone.
You can switch on 2FA inside your Blaze account security settings.
3. Keep Your Login Details Private
Nobody from the Blaze team will ever ask for your password.
Don’t share your login information with anyone.
Be cautious with links or messages that seem unusual or come from unfamiliar users.
Report any attempt to obtain your account information.
