What is a “clip”?
A “clip” is a short video (highlight / moment) — a snippet — that’s taken from a live stream or a replay (VOD) on Blaze. It lets you capture and share interesting, funny or important moments without saving the full video.
Steps to Create a Clip on Blaze
Start watching a Blaze live stream or playback (VOD), either as a viewer or streamer (logged-in).
Find and click the “Clip” button/icon in the video player controls (usually near the bottom / bottom-right).
Define your clip:
A small clip creation window will appear.
Use the timeline sliders (or start/stop markers) to select the exact portion of the stream you want to clip.
Add a title (and optional description) for the clip so viewers know what it’s about.
Preview the clip to make sure it captures the right moment.
Publish the clip. Once you hit “Publish,” the clip will be generated and becomes available on your channel (or stream page).
Share the clip link; after publishing, copy the clip link to share on social media, with friends, or in chat.
Editing, Duration & Source Options
Clips should have a maximum length
You can create clips either during a live stream or from a saved replay/VOD
When clipping from a VOD, you might not get the “send to chat” option.
Managing and Removing Clips
Only the channel owner / streamer can delete a clip from their channel.
To delete: go to your channel / clips management page → locate the clip → choose “Delete” (or a trash-icon) next to it.
Deletion removes the clip from public view.
Recommendations When Using Clips
Use clips to highlight best moments; funny, intense, emotional or key gameplay, to increase engagement.
Add clear, descriptive titles so viewers know what the clip is about.
Share clips on social media or other platforms to expand your reach beyond Blaze.
