Blaze automatically saves your streams so viewers can watch them later.
Your Recent Broadcasts (VODs) appear directly on your channel and let your community catch up on anything they missed.
This guide explains how VODs work, how they’re generated, and how you can manage them as a creator.
1. What Are VODs on Blaze?
VOD stands for Video on Demand.
Whenever you finish a stream on Blaze, a VOD is created (as long as you have VODs enabled in your settings).
Each VOD includes:
Thumbnail
Duration
Stream title
Timestamp
Playback controls
Real-time chat replay
2. How VODs Are Created
When you end your stream:
Blaze finalizes your livestream replay
The system stitches segments together
A VOD file is generated
It’s displayed under Recent Broadcasts within minutes
No action is needed from your side.
3. How Long Are VODs Stored?
VOD retention depends on your streamer tier:
New Users / Default: VODs are stored for 2 weeks
Verified Streamers: VODs are stored for 2 months
After the retention period, older VODs may be automatically removed to free up storage.
